Re: Mari Celest?
I'm here, trying to decide on a plan of attack for the W/E. It looks like Satuday may be half decent, Sunday a washout. I may be better trying to earn a few brownie points by moving in to the front bedroom but my bucket of enthusiasm is on the boat.
Oh and you were very kind to say I loked like I was a few years off retirement but I'm 20 with 30 yrs experience, I want to retire @ 55.

So do I but it will be another 18 before I get any rest, and the plan to increase retirement age to 70 will mean I will have a white beard and white wings and live on a cloud somewhere before I get that rest!aquaplane wrote:I'm here, trying to decide on a plan of attack for the W/E. A Bob, the satisfaction of working for one's self and the pleasures that can be had from resting in the knowledge that you done it well and you done it yourself.So_Sage_of_Lorne wrote:Keep working chaps, I retired a couple of months ago at 54, Ive never worked so hard, I'm thinking of going back to employment for a rest!:D:D
Btw its looking more likely that we will be delaying our departure from Cumbrae tomorrow unless the forecast severe gale F9 moves on very quickly, My mates boat Emma is getting a severe battering on the inside of the Cumbrae centre pontoon,, infact he has abandoned ship and is staying in a house in Millport, so it might be one boat less tomorrow
