Just as well it was not Malteesers
Funny how something from 7 years ago still rears its head, I will not say if it made me smile or not

Best not to ask Peter about the infamous Loch Riddon BBQ.

I will not stay young forever but, I can be immature for the rest of my day's!

Re: Favourite pic of your boat
It's been many years since I went swimming off the RGYC slip. T'was back in the days when the sewers emptied straight into the water and there was a knocking shop just one pipe along frequented by the US sailors from the Holy Loch. Strange rubbery things were abundant in the water which forced my dad to respond to my queries by explaining the "facts of life".
It was bloody cold then and I have no desire to repeat the experience.

Brilliant pics. The first looks like it could have been taken on the CC this year, right down to the huge lubberly bight of the topping lift.

Re: Favourite pic of your boat
Alas no. it was taken at Ardlamont Point in 30 knots. We were doing up to 7 knots and things were getting very wet and a bit hairy. Soon after, Sheena decided enough was enough before we broke something on the first day of the holidays! We and the boat (a Starlight 39) gave up and motored to Portavadie for the night.
As for the topping lift - sometimes its more important just to get the f3cking reef in. Now!
Picture below is of Lassiette, with a metal stick (I know, I know) and had lost her rather fetching 1960's Ratsey & Lapthorn sails. This was her in the Kyles last year.

Just goes to prove she's fallible (sp?). It's ok she won't see this - she's away dealing with swine flu in Inverclyde.
