Chyt???? Never seen it spelled like that before, is it meant to sound Dublin as in rhyming with kite, or English rhyming with hit?

Looking good for the 24th.

I saw mine today for the first time since November. she stayed afloat throughout the winter. She's survived surprisingly well - she only had one other visit, by Joan, in January. The boom had been swinging a bit - burst the line to the backstay - and loosened the main sheet a small amount.

The worst thing was that the small shallow bilge sump under the engine had a fair amount of water so the whole engine was wet with condensation. I think that the seal on the big access panel in the cockpit sole is leaking.

The heat exchanger seems to have survived the deep frosts - when I went up to winterise the engine I didn't buy any antifreeze as I was sure that I had 5L in the locker - turned out to be only 2L so the raw side had a limited amount of 33% run through. I intended going back to run through a lot more at 50% but it never happened.

The electricity credit had run out so no dehumidifier but nothing felt too damp.

Bit weird - the batteries are sitting isolated and with no input - engine start showing 12.6 and domestic showing 12.3 - both wet lead acid and the domestic is newer. Will need to get back up soon with my ex BorderMaid twin output Sterling toy.

I would have thought it would be the Celtic "kite". I assume Bill is trying to bypass Nick's bad word filter.
