VHF Aerial

Post by Pete Cooper »

I don't know if it is of any interest, but I have a VHF aerial that I should probably get rid of. It is the one that was on Capricious, but when Paul had the DSC VHF installed he had a new aerial fitted as a matter of course, giving me the old one as a spare. It is a V-Tronix, and looks to be in good condition. Any offers?

Our Metz VHF antenna is £39 (including UK postage of £4.20) to forumites. Same price as we give the S&R teams.
And delivery is first class as well :!: :!:

I spoke to John on Friday afternoon, and had TWO postmen on my doorstep before 9am today. One brought the antenna by van because it was too long for the postie's bag. Normal postie brought the other stuff, and both arrived within minutes of each other.

Thanks, John.

I would suggest you keep it for emergancies Pete, it would be of more value to you that way.

Thats really nice to hear that the posties work as a team in your area, we dont get our mail until about 1300 hrs any day except sat when it comes about 08.30.
Btw that seems to be a really good price for the antenna, could I be heard louder on the Clyde if I fitted one of them?

Thanks, John.
