Where is it?

Post by Clyde_Wanderer »

Not a boaty theme, but its amazing where aeroplanes turn up.
Anyone know where it is?
Clue, I was having a bowl of home made Ministrony in the centre of a cafe surounded by lovely flowers when I took the pic.

Well, 15 mile south of Glasgow the obvious aeroplane connection would be Prestwick, but the countryside looks all wrong.

I think Prestwick is a bit more than 15 miles south of Glasgow. East Kilbride or Strathaven would be more likely I would think. I don't know the area, so any suggestion from me would just be a guess.

Strathaven has some flying stuff, but I didn't think it was that big!
Microlites and wee helicopters I think.

Bingo.
But I do hope it was brought in in peices.
It is supposed to be getting turned into a restuarant or tea shop.
