Rear-Commode

Post by claymore »

I expect due deference from you all having reached the lofty heights of Flag Officer at Blackpool and Fleetwood YC.
Obviously recognition for the stunning job I did as Cruising Secretary - I now have my own parking place. If only my old Mum and Dad were around - they'd be so proud...

Dear Heart finds it all rather embarrasing.

I wanted to know what a Flag Officer did, so Google came up with this:

clicky

Extract:

He is carrying the British flag. He is old, old, old. The plastic case he comes in is yellowed, but the doll itself is in excellent condition. Make an offer.

Congratulations Exalted One and I am sure we're all very proud to be associated with you, if only via this humble message board. Perhaps a change of rank here might be approprate - FO has a nice ring to it.

Felicitations dear boys...Silkie - I've always been impressed by the instant demonstrations of respect you show to myself and others moving in exalted circles.
The FO sits easier with me than the previous sobriquet in that I felt it rather suggested that I was claiming benefits.
The FO has a rather grand ring to I, I feel - yes, Colonial does it.

A well deserved accolade.
Tho I have to say that if the club races last more than 45 minutes or so, it may stand for Frequently Outofcommission
