costly cleaning

Post by theguerns »

We have been using the old baby wipes for years now especially when fitting new windows to get that nasty old sickaflex of the grp and hands. Now we have found the answer to a sailors prayers. Black streaks, diesel spill, oil on cloths and anywhere else, fat stains on cloths, also a very good additive for the windscreen washer bottle to remove traffic grease. Its called Carolin, with savon du marseille multi degreasant. At €2.75 for 1/2 a lit good value. It can be bought anywhere in Europe but sadly not in the UK.
Other good products to be found on our blog at

Sal & I live aboard our Colvic Watson 32 in France as we have retired from the channel Islands. I have been sailing for 55 years and Sal for 17 years.
