Assuming you're up for some proof reading "enjoy some wonderful seafood in the world" on the home page could do with a tweak. All good apart from that so far although I haven't got to the prices yet!

Fixed that. It's great having a team on online proof readers, but I promise only to post the more interesting new sites.

(I am currently working on a major revamp of an important Scottish sailing site, but cannot reveal more at the moment).

On another tack, not all of the gallery pics make me want to fire off an immediate email enquiring about availability.

Perhaps less might be more in some cases?

A bit of a motley crew - and there are a few fairly scary ones of Peter, the skipper, that I have refrained from putting up.

I have hidden that one now.

Sunsets are nice, aren't they? Going to put some of the pix of our Orkney trip up there as well, as she is heading for Orkney next year.

Can't help but think that early/late season a bareboat charter would be a fraction of the cost and a billion times more fun.

Unless for Ã‚Â£560 he can ensure that the other crewmembers are them. (Except the one on the right.)

It isn't aimed at the charter market - the keywords are 'sailing adventure holidays'. This is aimed at people who haven't sailed much if at all before and fancy a wee cruise on a traditional boat.

Do you think the early season prices should come down a bit? I do have the owner's ear . . .

Why don't you think it would be any fun?

Compared to Chartering I think the low season prices are a joke - about the same price for one person as hiring a whole AWB for a week - and that way you choose exactly when and where you go. Since he isn't in that market maybe that's irrelevant.

Well, I didn't say it wouldn't be any fun. Prolly be very good, just not as good as a bareboat IMHO, but as you say that isn't his market.

Now, for a place on a skippered boat like that with a wood burning stove on a summer Arctic cruise I'd happily part with Ã‚Â£560 for a week.

It says nothing about the catering, plenty of lobsters on show but for breakfast, lunch and supper for a week?

I'm not sure I would want to pay that amount of dosh to to eat Fray Bentos pies and then do the washing up.

An interesting boat.
There are not many built both in Caithness in 1977 and on the Clyde in 1997.

Thanks very much Gordon, nice to have some sharp eyes doing a bit of proofreading.

I originally thought the boat had been built on the Clyde, but in fact she was built in a shed in Caithness. Peter Matheson now runs Clydeside Boatbuilders and builds boats on the Clyde. I've fixed the error, but if anyone can spot any other errors please do let me know.

Windfinder, after a discussion with the owners the low season price has been reduced to a more attractive price point. I have also asked them if they can supply a typical week's menu.

All good feedback, thanks . . . (Claymore excepted of course).

Further to the worries about catering - there is now a typical day's catering arrangements on the site. Sounds OK to me. Hopefully a typical week's menu will also appear at some point.
