1 Taken on 4th Sept
2 Take on 4th July.
3 Taken on 4th July
Also some coincidence. Two 36 ft boats, both named Encore, floundered on the consecutive days, one off Ardrossan, the other off Sydney, thankfully crews alright.

I'll guess that no. 2 is Inch and 3 is Eilean Dubh Mor. OTOH there's something of the character of the west side of Mull about both of them, so I'm not really sure...

Middle one; Wiay, entrance to Loch Bracadale, Skye?
EDIT: third one taken on Ulva?

Greatly assisted by the clue, I now think that no. 3 is from Village Bay (name?) on Raasay looking north westish towards Ben Tianavaig and the Storr.
I think the background to 2. is the Red Hills, but I'm less certain of the island. Pabay?

It is indeed on Colonsay. Kilmoran Bay, as it were, with the Torran Rocks visible on the horizon and the also the Ross of Mull. We had spent the previous day on the beach at Balfour Bay (in the sun) and then picked our way through the Torran Rocks in flat calm to this beach for another afternoon on the beach in the parallel universe before a gentle broad reach to Easdale

DaveS No 2 Very warm but further north.
Ben Tianavaig and part of the Storr are just visible in No 2 (I think)

No 2 Does not have the Storr in it.
I give up.
It is Holme Island just off the coast north of Portree, looking south.
We were in search of Sea Eagles as per the map on the pier at Portree. We saw one (over Raasay)
