We will be aboard BBH from Friday night in Kip, unless they have moved us to make way for the sale, we are on G pontoon to the right of the main walk way looking seaward. 5th boat in.ash wrote:.....Who's going?..............

I/we will be at Troon over the weekend as it's a busy time with liftout a week away. However you would need the sandals of haysoos to get to us as we live up against the wall in the 'cooncil bit'
May meet some of you meandering amongst the aspirations of grandeur that can never be. I will be carrying an umbrella as identification.

Bill, is it my umbrella as I haven't been able to find it since the BBQ at Portavadie.sahona wrote:I/we will be at Troon over the weekend as it's a busy time with liftout a week away. However you would need the sandals of haysoos to get to us as we live up against the wall in the 'cooncil bit'

I will probably be putting in the miles and visiting all marinas from Troon to Kip. may also be at Clyde sometime as well, pontoon C17 if anyone is visiting.

Cheers Guys
I saw your reply on another post, and this is what prompted my question. I chased through your posts and saw that you had changed boats earlier in the year, but couldn't find a name for your current vessel.So_Sage_of_Lorne wrote:

I'll need to have a look at the My Boat Picture thread to see if she's there.
What's the forecast like? How many reefs can you put into the brolly? BBC tv seem to think that Sat and Sun will be dry.sahona wrote:I will be carrying an umbrella as identification.
Aquaplane and Lady Stormrider are coming up for the weekend, and Joan and I will join them for the trek through the Marinas. Bob is in the market, but Joan and I are purely tyrekickers.
I don't know if Bob has a passage plan yet, but I would expect that we'll be at Kip as they seem to have a few possibilities.
Joan and I would certainly like to have a look at Largs as they have the boats open - no queuing for keys.
Hopefully, we'll have time for Troon and maybe Ardrossan if we keep the pedal to the metal.
Rhu is a fiddle cos it's on t'other side, but maybe day 2.
Do you think that Webby would post a PDF of the winning Burgee so that we could all print a wee paper copy? I'm not sure if I want a flag on a wee stick, but I'm sure that I could make a laminate to fit onto a neck lanyard.

Bob says he's hanging loose about the boat buying as <non-sailing comment about stock-market has been automatically edited out>but if we see 'The One' and a sunbeam with a heavenly choir start up we will have to see.
I shall also keep on the lookout for the Blue Moments Merchandise Stand and furtive men with umbrellas

Are you hinting that we shouldn't have holes in our socks, and will have to have a clean pair of deckshoes in a little bag before we're allowed aboard BBH.Clyde_Wanderer wrote:

Eamonn, only those and such as those can walk upon the water, which is what is required to get to our berth.
As to the umbrella, there's a partially damaged label indicating it should be returned to an american politician = somebody #### Agnew, I don't know who he could be ....
Have you had as much Maggies as I have had Grouses?
