It's on Seil Island
Hi Eamonn,
The bridge is about 2 miles from our house and the pub beside it is our local.
I was anchored in Puilladobhran almost exactly a year before we moved over here in May 2003 (a delivery for someone, not Fairwinds) and was sitting at the end of the bar remarking 'I wish this was my local'. Little did I know that a year later it would be.
Sometimes wishes do come true

Tigh an Truish
.
The pub is called the Tigh an Truish, which translates from the Gaelic as 'House of the Trousers'. After the Jacobite Risings when kilts were banned, the islanders were reputed to change out of their kilts and into trews here, when going the mainland.

Re: Nice shot of my local
Thanks for putting that on. Superb!
Been there once and loved it. Almost breaks my heart that you get to see it every day while I languish on the South Coast.
