Borro Boats

Post by Daveanmucker »

Yesterday I noticed while passing that what used to be Borro boats, just uo form the Oban sailing club house. Had got a new walkway and a lengths of pontoons ready for installing.

I understood that the old owner had retired and sold off his dinghy's because we got one.

I wonder if anyone knows wether its been bought and what they intend to use it for. :?:

I think the new structure is to go with the Visitor Moorings which is a first move on the way to the Oban Bay pontoons

Oban Bay Visitor Moorings

Post by Nick »

.
There are now 15 Visitor moorings at Cardingmill Bay (south side of Oban Bay) and none on the north side. They are large yellow buoys with no pickup. £12 per night (£2 per hour).
