Sorry Eamonn But it was a good photo.
I don't know if you saw it on an old post on TOP It was actually Falkirkdan who posted it.
Will you accept a drink if we are going to the Tarbert festival by way of an apology?

The pic...Is it a lot further North?

Iain, dident know it was on TOP, so I withdraw my threat not to reply to you.
Sure about the drink, and we could have a good skinful.
The pics are not from this island, Clue, the metal man has made a point of been close to good golfers for many years, and could be right opposite Dyflyn.
The very dangerous beach has claimed many lives over the last decade, and hosted some of the worlds best surfers.
So have you decided about going to Tarbert?
As I said, I have been before, and had no problem with rafting up, the line up of artists looks quite good too.

Eamonn
You've got me with the pics. you should post them on TOP.

I'm hoping to go to Tarbert but will have to wait till later next week to see what the weather is doing. If I'm going I will be leaving Saturday and back Sun. I'll be in touch and we'll meet up.

Sorry for keeping everyone in suspenders reg the where is it pics.
They are in fact taken in Co Sligo Ireland, the metal man is in the channel at Rosses point, where the famous golf course is.
The other pic is Strandhill co Sligo where they sometimes hold the world surfing championships.
There are some fantastic beaches over there with some of them as long as 5-6miles.
I thought you might have been that way, Nick, when you did the round Ireland, but suppose it is a bit out of the way and you would probably have past well off there.
