Summer Jaunt

Post by DaveS »

Well, I got back from this year's summer trip a week ago, and I've been very virtuous, industrious, and other 'us'es and got it all written up here: http://www.yotblog.com/DaveS/3721/.

Piccies may be added later.

This years highlight was rounding the Butt of Lewis - a first for me.

For what it's worth.....
For Murray McLeod at 'bookings@seatrek.co.uk'

Murray,

I'd planned to take advantage of your SeaRib excursions when I brought my family and some friends your way later in the month but, after hearing of the hooligan and reckless behaviour of your RIB driver on 30 July, I've decided to do something else with my money instead. And I've forwarded the story to some American friends who, like me, were interested in your trips and also likely to be passing your way, care of a hired motor-home and Calmac. They're old-fashioned folks from the Deep South, and are big on ordinary courtesy. They, also, are now likely to keep their Euros in their pockets.

Have a good winter.

Great blog - really enjoyed it. Like everyone else I demand photos!

SeaRib: Frankly I don't mind motorbaots coming near me, it gives them a better sensation of speed and a bit of wash never did anyone any harm.
