Carmarthen Bay Dolphin Frenzy

Post by Mark »

Tootling across Carmarthen Bay and we were joined by a massive pod (is it pod?) of dozens (hundreds?) of dolphins heading East. They surrounded the boat for 20 minutes or so & providing some unique entertainment. Dolphins as far as the eye could see.

Got some video:

Great when they're up close like that. They were strutting their stuff for us a couple of weeks ago, when one hit our keel - made quite a thump.

A lot seem to have scars; wounds from propellers or from fighting?

Clear evidence of Alien experimentation. The Pentagon must be covering it up.

One of the pair that entertained me for an hour or so at the beginning of April had obvious propellor injuries; half a dozen parallel diagonal stripes along it's back. Blog entry.

Half a dozen parallel diagonal slices into it's back? Perfect, rub some salt and seasoning into the gashes and it'll be perfect for the BBQ. My mouth is already watering.
