Son -in Law problems

Post by claymore »

So here I am in the land of the Danes
"Dad" comes the request "please can you help us board out the bedroom"
"But of course" says I having consumed a couple of liberally poured Taliskers.
So - it is now 15:30 in Denmark and I have learned that Von Carlsberg has the concentration span of a gnat and is boss eyed, judging by the angles he's been cutting at - so I fired him off the job. Does anyone have a couple of days to spare and would like to spend them cutting up planks - oh and could you bring a sharp saw?
Regards

Are ye sure it's nae yersel thats jist a wee bit boss eyed :?: :?:

Talisker has been known to do that to people. :!:
Well, it does to me anyway.

As to your request, I have all the time in the world, and I even have a sharp saw. However, I can't see me being allowed to sail over from Peterheid on my own, and it's a bit short notice to get a crew together.

Sorry :!:

Acshully, its ma conseedered opeenyun that you've been wellied out the operational area for being a PIA and have been given a laptop and wifi connection and told tae play wi' yersel whilst the responsible adults get oan withh the job. Why else wid ye be posting like Billyoh when ye claim tae be carpenting the land of BAcon and pastries?

Jamesie
In the land of the Bacon and Pastried the clock is an hour in front of youse jessies back hame.
This means that it is noo half past 9 at night and I have put in a 14 hour day with just a coffee this morning, very meagre rations at lunchtime and a brew of tea at 3
At present I am a stranger tae supper and have dooned tools in protest.
This is longer hours than I do at the dream factory and wi shorter breaks.

Anyway - whits been nipping your hairy ringpiece ye crabbit wee nerd?

Bullet holes in yer feet, Your interview process was obviously flawed when he came asking for the hand ( and all the other bits), of your daughter.
There may be even more undiscovered inadequacies that you will have to cover for in future.
Get a sturdy box, mark it "Grandpa's Tools" start building a shed, and get shares in the ferry company.
You can finance it by selling Claymore, as you probably won't have time to sail from now on.
