The Princess Royal today officially opened the new lavvy and shower block by the pontoons at Tobermory. She told a enthralled crowd of at least 60 people that she was delighted to be in Tobermory for such an auspicious occasion, although she was disappointed that Lord Claymore was unable to be in attendance owing to issues with his calorifier.
The event also celebrated 25 years of the Tobermory Harbour Association's selfless devotion to the comforts of visiting yachtspersons. Built at a cost of £2.8bn (including consultancy fees), it is expected that the new lavvies will attract sailors from all parts of the Sound of Mull, and possibly even as far away as Oban. A wee man in a red jacket and wearing a beard said "With modern sailing yachts, Dunstaffnage is only four hours' drive away at full throttle. This'll bring loads of money into the town, and fill ma wee leather pouch full o' siller."

How could one refuse such an eloquent invitation from the 'bearded one’?Silkie wrote: HRH-A hasn't posted here for quite a while. Do you think she's fallen out with us?
One has been 'lurking' and has been tempted to post on a number of threads, but there are so many new members on this forum and one has to be so careful as Tim hates spam.
One was horrified to see the pix of one's great friend with such injuries. One has had the errant Muzzy incarcerated in the Tower for his carelessness.
One wasn't too sure about the thread concerning one's offspring, her nag, and dear daddy. As a mother one is hugely disappointed for Zara, but maybe one Olympian in the family is enough.
One had a lovely day in Balamory, as did Mummy and Daddy at Largs.
Yours

Shame, I liked the wild feel of having to walk to the Youth Hostel for a shower and a w**k!
