Hi guys.
Thought I would say hello before I fly out to NY in the morning, as I have just managed to get in here, Thanks to Nick.
Hear from you all when I get back.
Cheers, C_W

Welcome to the forum C_W
Enjoy the trip . . . presumably not sailing-related?

Just back this morning. Sailing in that area would be interesting;

the closest we came to sailing there was a trip on the (free!!) Staten Island ferry;
Enjoy the trip!

CW's trip is not sailing related - it's his wife's birthday. However having flown over they are returning on the Queen Mary II so I suppose it is sailing related(ish).

Absolutely - I'm sparing no expense this summer and taking Dear Heart across the North Sea from Hull to Rotterdam on the ferry. Definately sailing related and without a doubt, when the skipper realises we are on board he'll no doubt ask us to helm

"Excuse me captain, there's a wee man here who says he's Lord Claymore and he'd like a shot at driving the ship. Says he's been certified by the RYA."
"OK, let's take a look at him."
"Here he is."
