I think the answer may be "probably not" understanding is it's installed primarily for use by the inhabitants and the ferry which struggled to use the old landing in strong westerlies. Best idea is perhaps to email them and find out first hand - reception@holyisland.org

There is no pontoon at Brodick, vistors moorings (free) and ashore at concrete slip N of ferry terminal.
The monks at Holy Isle have just had a rather smart new pontoon installed but I would very much doubt there will be any alchohol about

Vistors moorings are up and running as normal at Lamlash - they are available most if not all months of the year and payable to Jim @ Holy Isle Ferry office who took them over from AYC a couple of years ago and is replacing, refurbishing & adding to them as funds allow. The platform is deployed ...
