Are you getting some East in the breeze? It would be grand if you were!

James, Silkie and I left a few of Tesco's remaindered Rum stock around there. The decision whether to sail and catch the tide around the Lizard had to be made by 6am and by 3am the rum "won" and it was back to bed/bunk

Well, presently anchored off Copeland Isle by Donaghadee and thinking of m/sailing up to Larne. Wind been right on the nose for almost the entire passage. Was westerly this morning and had fast sail from Ardglass, but then turned NNW as soon as we turned, errmmm, NNW......
The only decent sail we've had on the entire journey, certainly since The Lizard, was overnight from Lambay Island off Howth to Ardglass.
This has not been our best sailing experience by a long chalk. Derek, CPEDW, made the right decision about shipping their new boat by road.
