To remove some adhesive from the hull - I peeled some lettering off yesterday and you can still see the ouline in auld sticky stuff.
Was thinking of using cellulose thinners

First choice for me would be isopropanol (AKA isoproyl alcohol or IPA) or second white spirit. Cellulose thinners is similar I think but check with Aquaplane and try on a small inconspicuous patch first.

Yes there is (bond and seal solvent) and it is in the pile of stuff we just retrieved from Shard. I'll track it down sometime today.

I think I used meths when I took the coach line off Chiron. It wasn't over effective sort of turned the glue snotty and spread it thin.
Kleeneze do some formulation called "sticky stuff remover", it may be worth a try.
NB, when I got the old vinyl off Mucky Boots to rename her Aquaplane, I could see she had been called Bon Chance previously, just by the residual gloss on the gel coat where the lettering had protected it.

Found it! Innotec Seal and bond remover. Bought about 12 years ago when we first discovered that masking tape shouldn't be left on for a week. It worked very well but was a bit expensive I think.
