Well, we'll chust have to get a more reliable roadie.....
Had a pretty good weekend starting Friday at the Creagan Inn where one of the local guys borrowed Kenny the Box's accordion for a few numbers. Good sail to Loch Aline the following day, tacking down the Lynn of Morvern and then on the beam up the Sound of Mull. Blowing a 6 when we came alongside on the new pontoons. The waves were surprisingly big with the wind and scend whipping straight through the entrance to the loch. A wild ceilidh in the social club followed. The wind stayed strong for the sail to Puilladobhrain but at least we managed to do it on a single tack from the mouth of the loch all the way to PD. Sea was quite rough, and a bit more again on Monday morning when headed north with not much genny out; blowing 6 and above for most of the time and waves up to about 3m although that improved once we were in shelter of Mull.
All in all, a very enjoyable weekend but tiring. Lots of work on the winches and late nights. Some alcohol was taken.
