Actually taken at dawn on Feb 19th 2007 after a fairly gnarly night sail from Tenerife. No boat in it, but a braw picture nonetheless.
Just one of the many amazing dawns at sea we experienced on our year away.
Six years - seems like longer . . . I feel a wee hankering setting in here . . . .

I've a photo to prove it - similar lighting from The Tan towards Glen Sannox. Can't see any way of posting it however...

Not quite as dark, but you can almost imagine the Arran hills as volcanic - smoking away quietly..
