But there is little significance in that fact alone - you really need to link it to the first dusting of white on the Ben you can see from your bedroom window or the fisrt snowdrop etc
The only thing you could really link to mid october is whether the wemeister has managed to get one of his silly bloody calendars published

I'll get round to it over the weekend. I'm just working out the algorithm for making sure everyone except Claymore can download it.

Funnily enough - one of the warmest sails we have had all season this afternoon returning from Tarbert to the Kyles. Glorious!
