Round the Island Race Video Forecast

Hi everyone,
The RTIR is less than 48-hours away now and we can start to firm up on the forecast. Looks like a breezy start at SW F4-F5 with reduced visibility, typical warm sector. Probably holding F5 through much of the race but then decreasing by the evening to a F4 in the lee of the east of the island, and down to a F3 later with improving visibility.
I have put a more detail video forecast online, and a written Musing for Sailing Weather Information Service (SWIS) members, available by 3pm this afternoon. It can be viewed by logging onto www.SailingWeather.co.uk, and then clicking on 'Videos and Musings'. For those not taking part in the race I have also published a more general weekend sailing forecast video for the whole of the UK and Ireland which can be found at the same location.
If you are not a SWIS member yet you can get a 14-day free trial by registering at www.SailingWeather.co.uk. This gives you free and open access to all forecasts, musings and videos.
Will publish the usual weekend forecast later.
With best wishes,
Simon
