Fuel @ Clachan?

I was wondering if there is any petrol between Crinan and Oban, the only place I could think of is opposite the TnT.

Is there anywhere else?

How do we get petrol @ Clachan, the pumps were locked when we were there and the gift shop had a honesty box, presumably there is someone to ask?

The TSA guide to launch sites says that petrol is found @ Lochgilphead for both the Croabh and Ardfern entries, OK if you have a car but not much cop if you have set off sailing.

Also, is there any round Mull except the one I saw in Tobers?

Not sure if the bus company will let you carry petrol?

That's what I thought too.

I did use the bus from Rothsay to Port Banatyne but I had a 10l can in a rucsack out of sight.

The Oban marina ferry to Oban was OK for us to carry empty cans but we couldn't bring back the full ones! We had to take Carousel across to get fuel.

Usually someone around at the T & T during the day - ask at the pub or I think there is a bell somewhere.

There is a rumour around that the pump is going - I don't think it makes a penny for the owners.
