Oban lifeboat launched to assist dive boat Sunday 3rd Oct

.Oban lifeboat, the Mora Edith Macdonald, launched at 11.45am today, Sunday 3rd October 2010.
She was off to the assistance of a dive-boat with 6 or 7 divers aboard, which had suffered engine failure near Bach Island off the South West corner of the island of Kerrera.
The lifeboat took the drifting boat in tow, took her home to Puffin Dive in the Sound of Kerrera, returned to Oban, refuelled and was ready for service again by 12.50 pm.
