Got a CD through the post from Richard, the skipper of Swift, an HR42 we met in Lochinver and again in Lerwick in June. He took a couple of shots of us rounding Point of Stoer. It's always great to have pix of your own boat under sail, but sadly rare. Anyone else got any pix of their boat under sail this season?

Thanks Richard :D

I thought you'd never ask me again.

I'm off for a mini-cruise starting tomorrow with the last of this year's holiday entitlement but have a whole new year starting on 1st September. Keep me in mind for any adventures which might suit a person af my age and infirmity.

That you had someone sailing with you to take the pics?

Pulling down tight on the lazy guy will stop most if not all of that windward roll......

Thanks Donald. I wasnt on board at the time but the stand in skipper is an experienced racer and the photo caught him just at the point that they were trying to react. I believe they centred the main, let out the spinny halyard and sheeted in hard on the lazy side.

To my irritation, they won without me!
