We are away on Wednesday for a few weeks, heading North to Shetland if the wind gods are kind, then maybe Norway. There will be a blog HERE.

The wind gods are evil bar stewards - it's looking like northerlies and north-easterlies for the next week . . . another sojourn in Tobermory? Faroes?

Northerlies, north easterlies....................
Why not nip through the Caley Canal.
You would then be better placed when the wind does change.

Re: Awa . . .
Not sure you are right there . . . if we go through the canal and it goes NW we are close hauled or worse. If we manage to make Cape Wrath and it goes NW we are on a beam reach or better . . .Ocklepoint wrote:Northerlies, north easterlies....................

Thats a fair point Bill. Personally I am at the stage where I feel I can write anything at all about Nick as he never responds. I must have upset the bandy-legged periwinkle at some stage but cannot think how or when.
