What started off as frost damage - 'knock off the flakey bits before painting'.

Then, inevitably

So, instead of getting the boat ready, and playing in Sahona's expensive new 'conservatory' that Saturn Sails sails has invoiced, but we have not yet had a chance to see, I am raiding the neighbourhood skips for reasonable bricks and learning another new skill.
I wish my mum were still here to stop me from being so stupid.

Now I know that concrete hulls are not that unusual (if a little passe these days) but I have NEVER seen a brick built hull before. However, there is a firm called the Stone Boatbuilding Coy near where I live - so maybe I have got it all wrong.

More than likely.
Due to our policy against profligate waste, it must be of the "pelican" type and all dropped frosties must be (re)consumed.
