.. of the BBC last Friday in London .. wide range of subjects discussed; foundation bricks, Radio 1 etc etc. Sadly, our education expert was laid low by a dodgy Fleetwood curry and thus most of the chat [over]heard aboot such matters was completely oer oor heids. The Beeb paid for the lunch so you'll all get to know what it cost when next his ex's are published ....

I suppose it would make a change from the scottish team getting their arses kicked. Moore gave an excellent and very correct commentary - you're biased!

I agree with Mr Higgs. Moore is a cracker. When he and Eddie B do it, it's very enjoyable when Moore shows Eddie up. I like Moore's newspaper articles too. Did you catch the one last year when he spoke on teh young rugby player who chose assisted suicide when he broke his neck? It was a heart rending piece, talking about the parents dignity and decisions. Good stuff.

Yesterday, ref (the much touted "he'll be good for the game") whistles for penalty, agin the english, at the scrum. Moore "refs know nothing abt scrums and don't observe the law" followed by diatribe which ends with, believe it or not, "refs don't follow rugby parlance" eg cheating is what he meant. And he's a lawyer and training to be a match ref?
