The boat spent last winter in the water and I didn't lift out/antifoul at all, just reached what weed/shells I could with a long handled brush. Obviously by now its a bit manky.
Am in all winter this time too. Should I lift out and and clean/antifoul now or leave till next spring, by which time the barnacles will have barnacles - or doesn't it make any difference? Am not going to be using boat much over the winter.

Leave it till the spring. There will be reduced growth over the winter I would have thought so you may as well scrape them off just the once.
You can dry out alongside at Kilmelford on the Jetty. I don't know what they would charge but it wouldn't be much. For suitable wages in the form of meat pies and beer, I'd be happy to come and give you a hand scraping and antifouling.
You could always run aground going into tayvallich and do a spot of careening!

Many thanks to those who replied to this and mooring thread here or by pm.
Obvious answer for boot-top is Claymore standing on Parahandy's shoulders and I will be on hand to take photographs and post them here. Of course we do not recommend that you try this at home. Or anywhere else, really.
