I dunno but don't knock it. The wind comes from the south every time I want to go that way. :wink:

is hellish confusing, is it no'?

Frinstance, some people use "wind over tide" to mean both in the same direction whereas I always thought it meant wind and tide opposed.

I would agree with Wind over tide to mean the same direction. Wind against tide would mean the opposite.
