Sprouts

Whilst browsing in a DIY Store with a garden Centre attached (purely on the pretext of purchasing reasonably priced varnishes, wood and epoxy resins for my new acquisition away from the Swindleries) I espied a display of Christmas decorations. 
Realising that I had completely forgot to put my Brussels Sprouts on in April I pass on this handy tip:
Give them a quick half-hour blast in the microwave on full power before plunging into a pressure cooker at full weight.
Now back to the pressing business of repairing the 3" hole in my new purchase.
