Entrance (or exit???) to Puilladobhrain??
That is a guess, using my vast ocean cruising experience - since March.

No cigar, I'm afraid. Unless the sun has started setting in the north or south recently.

Don't know the area, but my guess is somewhere around Shuna or Port Appin

No, sorry.

&

Yes.

Time for a clue? This location has been the subject of 1.5 previous whereisits and to my knowledge four members have anchored there (one of whom pm'ed the correct answer within 10 minutes but didn't want to spoil the fun) with a further two having visited on foot.

The only time I've ever gone in to Newton Creek it was pitch dark and we only saw the shingle bank (just in time to avoid hitting it).

IIRC.

Oh, OK then.... :)

It's the entrance to the Sound of Mull, with Eilean Musdile light just visible, from Oitir Mhòr Bay, Kerrera.
