Had a nice PM from Keith in response to my apology, saying he had thought it very funny but doubting whether he could have kept the rabble in hand without pulling it immediately.

I think that it never leaves her hands (despite what those with a more salacious imagination would like to believe!) and is probably concealed inside flesh coloured pouches in her palms.
Note that you never see her palms except when they are in rapid motion, and also that both her hands are always present when she apparently pulls it from it's "place of concealment!"
