Teeshirt and shorts day

Well maybe not quite but an unseasonably warm day with, if the car is to be believed, 13C this morning on the way to the last race of the year at Port Edgar. Rigged storm jib and tied down the 3rd reef ready to brave the elements and the OOD abandoned the races - claimed 50kt gusts at the starter box (not a place I would trust to stay put in such winds), flying drift wood and an interesting cross-sea, though I think he just wanted the mulled wine and mince pies.
The crew wanted to go out anyway but the thought of trying to park the thing afterwards made me chicken out.
Now I have to decide - out or in? Take her out the water for 3 months or stay in and slap next year's antifoul on between tides. Think I'll wait and see what January brings.
