Having created a hazard in the North Sea last week in the Stavanger race H2S is now assisting with a delivery of a Sunsail vessel from Largs to Cork for Cork week.

I think the lassie may well get the hang of it quite soon . . .

Just back at work and yet I am still a very happy Hazard. Three weeks of absolutely amazing sailing - hard work, very little sleep, great company and some amazing sights. When can I go again? Brilliant this sailing - absolutely brilliant.

North sea race was long (54 hours) and physically quite demanding - and yet this was apparently the calmest crossing since the race began. Still the biggest following sea I have seen. We finished second in our class.
Amazing time in Norway and thank you Stavanger Sailing Club for making us all very welcome.
Cork was full of some amazing boats in for the Cork Race week - some serious racing yachts. I really didn't want to leave after the delivery but stay for the races, unfortunately had to come back to work.
Anyway thanks Nick - you got me started on this - can't thank you enough for that first invite to crew for you. Hope to see you before you leave next week sometime.

Well done - it's a shame when work gets in the way 8) .

I presume you sailed to Cork via the Irish Sea, or did you go down the west side?

Glad to hear you enjoyed your trips. How about a couple of blog entries?

You won't be wanting that sail on wee Silkie now. :(

HI Shard
Sailed from Largs to Bangor and then Howth and finally Cork. We did have a wee daysail from Cork to Kinsale for fun on the Friday. Beautiful part of the world - I wish we had had more time to enjoy it. Would hope to return to sail at leisure some time.
Very limited for time on this trip to enjoy the area - however I did manage to sample a couple of the local beers at the end of the trip - and mighty fine they were.
