Kin windy today

Twas the Crinan Canal for me today to collect the old girl with her new bulwarks - quite smart, eh?
However, it wasn't the most promising of forecasts and the trip up Loch Craignish was a bit of a hoot. I have a Forgen 500 wind generator that has never (in my presence) generated more than 0.3 Amps in its history. Today was a little different:
December sailing brings on a whole new dimension!
Looking good

.
She's looking very smart Shuggy. Was that the guy at Cairnbaan did the work? I've heard good things about him.

Hi Nick. Yes, Adam Way of A&R Way (responsible for The Truant's restoration). Very satisfied customer. Did what he said he would for the price he quoted despite some technical difficulties along the way. A strong recommendation.

She looks lovely, but why are you selling her?

She's a bit on the small side for a family of 5. The engine room is so enormous you could sleep about 4 people down there - but it eats into useful accommodation. At the moment our twins share a bunk but our years are numbered that way. Added to which I hanker after something that sails really well. Mind you, we got our record yesterday under sail - 7.1 knots (without the main!) with no tide to speak of.
Mind you, having shelled out for bulwarks to make her easier to sell (previous ones were ripped off when the deck was done & never replaced) we're now in 2 minds. They seem to transform her.

Pic 2 - nothing

We'll see what happens. I suspect wooden boat prices have taken a battering so we may well hold on to her.
