BURGEES - READY TO ORDER

This is the new BlueMoment burgee / house flag - very smart, highly distinctive and easily recognised by other BlueMomenters wherever it is flown.
I am on the verge of ordering from Prestige Flags in the USA. Their quote is very competitive and their flags are guaranteed to fly continuously for at least two years.
I would like to order 50, in which case the cost will be $14 per flag plus $50 set-up fee plus postage (currently unspecified, but guessed at as $1 per flag)
So total cost will be around $16 per flag (currently £9.50) plus postage to you. I reckon if I charge £12 per burgee it should cover all expenses and unforseen currency fluctuations.
So - now I need 50 orders, although I will go ahead and bear the cost of the extra stock if I get 40 definites. I am emailing all members asking them to please indicate using the poll attached to this post whether you would like to order a burgee for £12.00. (Remember, you need to log in to vote).
You can pay by PayPal
HEREusing your PayPal account or just using a credit card. Paypal cost is £12.60 including p&p to cover admin charges.

Nick,
In your budgeting, beware the Import Duty that's likely to be imposed on the parcel as it crosses the border. I'm not sure what the rate is but I seem to remember paying about 20% +VAT on parts from USA for steering.

Thanks Derek,
Goods will be sent by post so they may arrive unmolested. If I do get lumbered with import dutyI think the rate will be 6.3% . . . of course, VAT would add considerably to that.
I'll bear the (small) loss if necessary on the first batch or alternatively offer people the chance to donate the difference via PayPal should they wish to do so.
And another thing ...

I don't have a Paypal account; am I right in thinking that I can still pay by credit card through paypal?

Please make sure you vote in the poll as it is the only way I can be sure of numbers - if people say yes in a post but don't vote it is confusing.
You need to be signed in to vote.
If for any reason you can't vote but want a burgee then PM me.
Thanks

I assume these are complete and finished, so I can put my sewing machine away?

.
The flags will be made out of 400 denier nylon with a special UV coating to reduce fading and a poly coating to extend the life of the fabric.
There will be 2 grommets and a heavy poly webbing to hold the grommets.
All flags will be cut and stitched and will be guaranteed to fly for 2 years
