Dear Heart's Danish

Dear Heart is not one for the flying and so on Sunday she departs from Harwich to Esbjerg on the ferry.
Master Keeling has just produced the following forecast which I think will make the aircraft not seem too bad
SUNDAY:
Low pressure is dominating once again through Sunday. It extends through Ireland and will be spawning a separate low over Wales and the northern England through the afternoon and evening. A slacker flow across Scotland with the best of the weather here.
For the whole of Ireland and the southern half of the British Isles Sunday looks wet and windy. The rain is likely to be heavy at times and may well last throughout the day for many. Just about anywhere could see heavy periods of rain, Wales and parts of the Midlands and southwest probably seeing most of it.
For Scotland it is a much better picture. Here it should be generally dry, apart from the far south where light rain is possible. Generally though it will be a fair day with sunny spells. The best of the sunshine across northern areas. Light winds through Scotland too.
Winds will be mainly SW 20-30kt (F6-F7) over southern England and Wales, gales at first in the west, these transferring eastwards with the strongest winds through the south and east of England in the afternoon, up to gale force. Mainly variable 5-10kt (F2-F3) over Scotland and E-ENE 10-12kt (F3-F4) through Northern Ireland and northern England.

Are you going for a holiday?
My wife and son drove to there via DFDS from Harwich to Esberg, and on to Rhibe,( one of Denmarks oldest towns).
Must say it is a very clean, flat country, where you can expect to see company directors and 80yr old woman cycling along on their bikes, and spot woman wearing size 10 shoes, infact we saw a pair of shoes (men's) outside a shoe shop that were size 18.
You can also drive for long distances with no inclines more than 2ft average.
There is a fantastic beach about 25 miles south of Esberg called Romo, where all the europeens take their big camper vans onto the beach.
Hope you have a good time.

Dear Heart is safe arrived. The ship pitched and rolled for 18 hours, the purser was seen pondering the merits of tin mugs and plastic plates and much of the chef's efforts were recycled.
Dear Heart, having the constitution of an Ox and having experienced a good 34 years of my finest training took it all within her stride and is now in residence in the land of the Danes.
