Indeed, and well deserved, tough conditions and an awkward boat to handle were all managed well. Congratulations.

There certainly were some tricky conditions, but the good ship Sruth handled them well. Seeing 44kts apparent as we tacked her during MOB practice will stick in my mind for a while.

Indeed, but for me it was the tension when asked to reverse into the berth, starboard side too. For those who don't know, Sruth struggles going backwards, has an upswept bow that blows down wind very easily and has a massive kick to port in reverse. Reversing into the berth meant the wind was blowing down the berth at an angle of about 30 degrees off the pontoon at about 14 kts. It is a very difficult manoeuvre but Mavanier pulled it off. He showed great skill, not happy with the line up, drove forward and started again, then pulled it off. Well done.

All in all a great few days sailing with a brilliant conclusion.
