Well - saddened by the defeat at the hands of the Irish, I have maintained an interest in the Rugby World Cup
I think it seems inevitable that New Zealand will prevail.
However my interest was stimulated last weekend, not so much by the matches but I have developed a fascination for Sir Clive Woodward's left nostril which has developed a dribble.
Did anyone notice it? From my position in our sitting room, the tv production lights seemed to enhance and give a sparkle to said dewdrop - I wonder if someone like the divine Jill Douglas took him on one side and briefed him on the impending snotslide as it was dried for a while at the beginning of each 'pundit episode' but then began to appear within a minute or two?
My wife advises me of little else through what she has begun to call my snot monsoon season...

On reading this out aloud (just for practice, you understand) my wife immediately asks, "So. How is that John Swannie character these days? "
I think it's safe to report there is probably no change but maybe he needs his meds increased.

Much the same. Life is good! Never had problems with the titties- on tablets to reduce the flushes and sweats so all in all the pints are on me when we next meet up.
Boat out. Antifouling all rubbed down ready for next year as we have been asked to sail a wee Swan from Melbourne to Hobart and back next February. Wasn't hard to say yes....
Will you be up again soon?

Just saying.
As for Woodward, he was maybe quietly sobbing, reminiscing about his England team that also couldn't score tries, and just tried to kick their way to wins.
I propose that tries now become worth 10 points. Drop goals 1 point, with a maximum of one per half.

Don't totally agree. I'm quite comfortable with drop goals. Where an attacking side has had 10 plus phases near to the defenders goal line but aren't able to breach the line I think that a drop goal would give them the opportunity to add some points for their efforts.
As for all this kicking to the corner for a penalty - don't start me...
