.
I would just like to make it quite clear that this is a SAILING forum.
Sailors of advancing years who have progressed to a Gentleman's Motor Yacht may however apply.

So if you're not quite over the hill, and have a motor-sailer?
You'll do . . .

.
Folk with sailing boats with big engines that they can drive from indoors are most welcome . . . some of them even fly grey spinnakers and perform other startlingly nautical feats . . .
Don't worry. you will know when you are a MoBoer . . .

It's here
Scuttlebutt Cruise To Scuttlebutt Bar including a link to an earlier thread. Don't click until you've half an hour to spare though - YBW seems to be crawling along on hands and knees today.

Is the Cantyre Peninsula beginning to resemble Hadrians wall?
Or is there a protocol that I've missed?
Assuming a fixed boat, in the right place, at the right time, and a free pass from the soup dragon, you're welcome.
It occurs to me..

.. to wonder if you two are aware of each other's identities in t'other place?
I suppose it's pretty obvious who Nick is but

Sorted. Kathy and I will be shipping out on the good ship Sahona. Having only socialised on Claymore's Claymore 'Claymore' I am really looking forward to sailing on one . . . one is after all reaching the age when an indoor driving position seems like an eminently sensible idea for sailing on the Clyde in early Spring!

Don't get your hopes up! There appear to have been many variations of the claymore made, and ours may not resemble previous products.
Oh no . . .

Oh, yes, we wouldn't have bought it if it didn't have a hoose, so we are "T" shirt people, It just needs a bit of work here and there, and there and a little here, etc. Like , there's no seat at the helm yet, and things.
Don't worry, everything will be working by the time you get here, it just may not be as shiney as it should.....!
