To the best family yacht, regardless of class or results, as judged by representatives of the organising Committee and Tennents.

My first Google came up with the above, which sounds more like a beauty pagent, and I found it hard to believe that Claymore would be the winner, so I searched further and found this:

Caledonian Trophy
This trophy will be presented to the winner of a cruising competition which is judged solely on the distance a yacht covers during its cruise, anchorages visited and the route taken.

I assume the glass jug is used to water down the crew's whisky ration, as I would have thought that a man of Claymore's experience would use one of these for his bladder problem

I'm thinking we should have a similar award ceremony for the Chentlemen Cruisers. Black tie of course. I can't decide whether the category should be "Pluckiest Passage by a Vessel under 7m" or "Vessel Achieving the Greatest Heel Angle." Likewise, I'm not sure whether the trophy should be
