Is it shock or a fear of jinxing the future that has prevented the usual suspects from commenting on last Saturday's game? Me, I'm saying nothing but I still have a smile on my fizzog.

I don't like such one-sided games. Like hunting for deer with a Kalashnikov.

a converted try by the English would have lost Scotland the game, so despite the one-sidedness, there was always the chance defeat would have been snatched from the jaws of victory
good to see a victory and it would eve3n better if this continues

Yep. 2 missed penaties, 1 missed conversion and an abortive drop-goal attempt. Cant afford to be as profligate in the next game. Also a pointless trip by Finn led to a sin binning. Cpuld have been costly, and against a better team would have been. They were awful though. Wooden spoon contenders?

Tremendous discipline (apart from Russell). He may be mercurial but only when its all going ok.
I think a more consistent performer is needed.
Just seeing if I can find my boots...

The Welsh have a habit of producing brand new stand-offs etc. who play a blinder in their first match. I'd rather have the tired old men that played the Irish.

Townsend was quite diplomatic in his comment about the red card and the time/delays in making the decision but when you don't turn pressure into points, there is always the risk of an upset.

10 of the French are out with Covid. If the game goes ahead we might stand a chance!
