I'm planing to buy a new yacht, but the question is what manufacturer is the best. Bavaria yachts is cheap, bur I heard that they concentrate in selling yachts for charter firms and their production is not very good and Bavaria's hull is not strong enought. Is this just a myth? What you wuold recomend for me? If it's not too hard for you, please help me.

Good question and welcome to the forum

I presume this is your first yacht or you would have a definite opinion already. In any event you probably need to give us a bit more information.

Your budget? Where and when will you be sailing? What crew will you have? What sailing have you done?

Once you've answered all those questions I'll probably recommend that you get yourself a Hurley 22. :)

You seem to have been accidentally deleted. Sorry

Please register and post again Kadze (?) It's no excuse but when 99.9% of people signing up with unusual names are only here to improve their google ranking it's easy to get over enthusiastic with the delete button.

I'm planing to buy yacht in about 30-36 feets lenght, and it will be used basicly for cruising in Baltic sea. And what about Bavarias, because I don't believe that Bavarias are just made for charters or not.

Rent as many boats as you can first. Because you wouldn't know what you want exactly unless you've gone to actual sailing.

But initially, you have to evaluate the yacht's condition first before making any purchase. Plus there are a lot more factors to consider: first is your budget, the age & style of the boat, its length, etc.. And check out other internet sites too & sailing magazines - they can help a lot!

Boating is fun, so choose the boat that would best suit your skills & location. And one that will cater to your SAFETY! 8) 8) 8)

Gentle spam.

Spoke with da Mod recently about Daniel where he took a relaxed view of someone apparently trying to steal his entirely non-profit-making Yotblog business away. Reaction to this or to nbcanopus (Advertise almost anything - no Ebay links please!) may be different.

Content to wait for the verdict.
