That whoever invented the rhyme about "30 days hath September" should have thought it through a bit better?
If they'd gone for 31 days in May July and August the summer would be 3 days longer and the winter 3 days shorter.
In Denmark - little else to do but ruminate

We flew here so no car.
Feeling sorry for the daughter so offered to pay when we went into the Supermarket for a loaf. Her eyes lit up and the trolley groaned as we heaved it to the check-out, brimming with Salmon, the finest cheeses, chickens, oils, dressings, the entire contents of the fruit and veg section and a generous amount of wine. She seems incapable of bending over so just the stuff off the top shelf.
897 Kr later I dont have a car and I don't have any money.

Esjberg is around 3 hrs away - don't think I'll make it...

FFS...

The Drooping £ is making things pricey over here and I have not the courage to work out the swings and roundabouts of being paid in DDK , converted to £ versus the cost of living here that I have to convert back to DDK.

BTW, your spoiling that girl. Hopefully you will demolish most of the booze and leave her the bread...

Also, decent wine is cheap here and whusky is cheaper in the shops than in bonnie Scotland so less o' yer greeting.

I bought a litre of Jura - Diurachs Own at Gatwick - been here 6 days and am struggling to see how it will last until a week on Sunday.
