Got to agree with that. And still improving. I even heard they are building a hotel there.
It did look good in the old days. Almost unrecognisable now
They even built ships there

My grandfather was foreman in the shipyard in Ardrossan. He died in the early 20s, so my late father only had the haziest of recollections of him.

I think SWMBO’s Great Grandfather was the Harbourmaster at one point….. according to her Gran on her Fathers side..... (small world!)
