Sauce.
I believe I will be available for a consultation over the period of the Chentleman's Cruise.
I tend to think better when clients stump up for the odd round. My sailing companions seldom do and hence my permanent state of impecuniosity on these events.

Should a "succesfuly tie on the BM burgee" competition be organised as part of said event?

My better half has removed all the partialy consumed spirit bottles from BBH, such practice means that the only option now is once its open, the contents must be consumed before she returns to her home port.

I would just like to make totally and utterly clear that it was not me who tied on the now departed BM burgee.

Many thinks can be blamed on me such as not finishing the bottle of malt which I was intending to come back and finish, so can you ask the good lady to return said for my next voyage

I have just checked the cellar and am please to report that I must have finished it on your behalf already. :-0

It goes without saying that, you are always most welcom to a dram from one of the other bottles!

Now I know the malt has gone to a good home I am now less upset. Your kind offer of sampling some of your collection will no doubt be taken up when Mike and I come up for our BBH cruising week.

Tell the good lady I am up to my ears in bedding at the moment!

I thought the response to your suggestion went something like:

" On a par with Stephen Fry bedding Martina Navratilova - physically possible
but highly unlikely" :D :D

" On a par with Stephen Fry bedding Martina Navratilova - physically possible

Having sat and puzzled over this statement, I am still stumped as to the underlying message!

Have you considered that, a recently retired chap with time on his hands is likely to want to be aboard his boat whenever it leaves the safety and security of the marina berth.
